Meet our team:
Sue Williamson (the Principal)
Sue started her health career as a nurse in 1980 and after working with a leading plastic surgeon at the Leicester Royal Infirmary decided to switch to become a beauty therapist helping those with remedial camouflage needs.
Sue gained both ITEC and IA qualifications in all aspects of Beauty Therapy and since qualifying in 1985 as a therapist, she has ran two salons and also qualified as an ITEC tutor, successfully training students in a variety of subjects. Her role also extended in the 90's to being an examiner for CIBTAC.
In 1996 she gained a BA in Health Studies at De Montfort University and went on to teach in Health and Social Care and Beauty Therapy, both for BTEC and NVQ's. During her career she has also worked for an International Dental Company as a Product Specialist and also helped to support Stroke Patients, as a Stroke Family Support Organiser.
Sue has always loved teaching and has been lucky enough to be able to combine both her medical knowledge with that of beauty and holistic therapies. For the past 3 years Sue has worked as an Associate Tutor with Medical Services Training, teaching medical terminology, whilst providing treatment cover at a Beauty Clinic on an occasional basis.
With all of this knowledge and experience, Sue and her tutors would now like to help you realise your goals and to give you the best possible start to an enjoyable and interesting career
