Course design-helping to meet your needs

We know, that it can be difficult trying to start a new career, for all sorts of reasons, so wherever possible we have offered more than one option of study and payment routes, for your Convenience, for example:

  • Flexible starting points throughout the year
  • Two payment options, per module (units) or for Diplomas in 3 installments
  • All of the Diploma Courses are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, which allows you to apply for a career Development Loan, if required
  • We recognise Accreditation of Prior Achievement (APA) and can offer exemption of some units, if appropriate.
  • Study material, guidance notes and tutor support, plus use of various teaching aids

Your career

During your interview, we will assess your needs, in line with your career goals and advise on the most suitable course. We will also help to advise you prior to your graduation and where possible advise on suitable employment opportunities.

As mentioned there are many opportunities for graduates and you can continue your studies by adding to your qualifications at any time. There are also conferences and short courses available to help you to keep up to date.

About you

You will be entering a profession that primarily offers a service to the public, therefore you must be well presented and have good communication skills.
We recommend that you have studied to GCSE level with preferably 5 GCSE's at grade C or above, but this is not essential and therefore entry is at the discretion of the principal.
If a mature student, a willingness to study is essential.
Everyone is assessed as an individual at interview and mature students are especially welcome for their 'valuable life experience'.
