Medical terminology is a fascinating subject. You will learn 'how' medical words are structured and what the different components mean. So each time a 'new' word is presented to you, it is much easier to understand.
In Holistic Therapies, it is preferable to keep all treatment as natural as possible, however many therapies are now being offered within a 'Medical Environment' and therefore extra knowledge in this field will not only enhance your understanding of a persons medical conditions, but will also enable you to communicate with medical personnel more easily.
